If you are dissatisfied with the look of your teeth, veneers may be the solution. Porcelain veneers are very thin pieces of durable material that are crafted to fit your teeth perfectly.

After being shaped and colored in a dental lab, veneers are bonded onto the front of teeth and adjusted to fit your mouth so that they look like your natural teeth, but better.

Veneers can make a tremendous difference in your appearance and confidence.  An alternative to crowns, they last for years. They may someday need replacement, though.

Benefits from porcelain veneers:

  • Gives you a uniform, pearly-white smile.
  • Improve crooked or misshapen teeth.
  • Evens out unevenly spaced teeth.
  • Covers discolored or stained teeth.
  • Can make teeth seem smaller or larger.
  • Greatly improve the look of worn or chipped teeth.

How is it done?

Veneers typically require two visits. Little or no anesthesia is necessary.  The teeth are first lightly buffed and shaped, then an impression of the teeth is taken and a shade that works perfectly for you is selected by you with help from Dr. Kasimatis.

On the second visit, bonding cement is used to attach the veneer to the tooth. A type of light beam sets the bond so it will be stable. If you take good care of your new veneers, they will last you for years.
